About Wire Ghosts:

These are some of the cheapest and easiest props that you can make. Every home haunter should have several of these spirits floating around!







Material List:

Several wire coat hangers - the stronger the hanger the better they will support the weight of the Cheese Cloth

Cheese Cloth: There isn't a prescribed amount since it varies upon personal taste and the size of Spectres that you are making. You can't go wrong with several yards of it though!

One container of RIT dye (white): This is what makes the Ghosts glow under blacklight. If you don't need your decorations to glow, you can ignore any of the steps that pertain to the RIT dye.

Drape the cheese Cloth over the frame and your Ghost is finished!





Here's an example of a completed ghost. This one is fairly small, made from a single coat hanger.



If you want to make a larger ghost like the one shown above, use the same technique but with a heavy gauge wire of more length. I used wire purchased at a local farmers store to make the life-sized ghost shown below
